Blueprints Guide
Blueprints are generated for each holder that has been created. These blueprints essentialy depict a bottom view of the holder. These are generated to scale and able to fit in a regular A4 paper. If you have a traditional printer, you can print these blueprints and compare the dimensions that have been generated by overlaying your power brick on them.
Specifically:
- Download the blueprint for the holder you want from the listing.
- The file is a PDF file so you can open it with your favorite PDF viewer.
- Print the file on your printer.
- Please make sure there is no software scaling when you are printing:
- Options like “fit to page” and the such could potentially force a print that is not properly dimensioned.
- Options like “fit to page” and the such could potentially force a print that is not properly dimensioned.
- When you print the page, at the bottom, there are scale lines.
- One is 20mm and the other is 1in.
- Use a ruler and verify that the known dimensions are printed at the correct scale.
- If the 20mm line or 1in line are not measuring to those dimensions, then the printed page has been scaled. Please check your printer settings and print again.
- Once you have verified that the scale lines are printed to the correct dimensions, you can overlay your brick on the bottom view of the holder and see if it will be contained properly.
- If it looks too loose or too tight, adjustments are needed.
